What does get stored
Two items may get written into the browser's own local storage. Local storage is not a cookie: it never travels with a request, and no server ever receives it.

Neither key gets written until you act: one when the theme toggle gets pressed, the other when you answer the measurement notice. Recording a choice about measurement counts as strictly necessary, so it needs no separate permission of its own. Blocking storage altogether leaves the site fully usable; the notice simply asks again on the next visit.
What the hosting provider records
Like any web server, the host records each request: IP address, time, page requested, and browser string. Those logs keep the site running and help spot abuse. They involve no cookie and no tracking across sites. The privacy policy covers them in full.
Scripts on this site
Every style, font and image, and every script that runs before consent, is served from intelligentside.com itself. No advertising network, social widget, embedded video, web font service or tag manager gets loaded anywhere on the site. A strict security policy on every page enforces that rather than merely promising it: it permits no third party origin at all.
Measurement
This site counts page views using Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel publishes it as a cookieless product, meaning it reports visits without storing an identifier on your device. Vercel Inc. acts as the processor, and its own documentation is the authority on what the product collects and how long it holds it.

- Declining is as easy as accepting, and a decline gets respected
- Your answer gets recorded under the key

The measurement script cannot load ahead of consent. That ordering sits in the site code rather than in a configuration setting, so it cannot get switched off by accident. Change your mind by clearing site data for intelligentside.com, and the notice asks again.
Clearing what is stored
Every browser offers a way to clear site data. It usually sits under Settings, then Privacy, then a control named along the lines of clear browsing data or site settings. Clearing it for intelligentside.com removes the theme preference and the answer to the measurement notice. Nothing else is affected, and the site keeps working exactly as before.
